Volunteer in Religious Exploration
We are excited to enhance the family experience at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Corpus Christi by providing childcare and expanding our Religious Exploration classes during Sunday morning worship services and other church events. To make this happen, we are looking to assemble a team of dedicated RE volunteers who possess a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow in their roles.
As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and more, that support the growth and development of children. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for the children under your care and will receive training in child development and safety protocols. The goal is to assemble a team of 6-8 individuals who will rotate responsibilities to accommodate their schedules. If you have a positive attitude and are willing to learn and grow in your role, please consider joining our team.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying for the Childcare Coordinator position or would like to volunteer as a member of the RE team, please send a resume or letter of interest to Hanna Kiely, Director of Religious Exploration, at redirector@uucorpus.org. In the letter or resume, please include your interest, experience, and any questions you may have. We welcome all applicants over the age of 18.
Together, we can provide care and support for our entire community through this vital ministry. We are grateful for your help in making this program a success. Thank you for your interest in supporting our families at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Corpus Christi.
At our Unitarian Universalist community, the protection and flourishing of young people is a top priority. To that end, all individuals working with children, including staff and volunteers, undergo thorough background screenings to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
