It’s Hard to Be a UU

In this week’s sermon, we draw inspiration from Rabbi David Small, a character in a series of captivating novels, who embodies a unique blend of spiritual leadership and crime-solving. Reflecting on his insightful remark, “it is hard to be a Jew,” we explore the parallels between Judaism and Unitarian-Universalism as non-comfortable religions.

Bob Allen is an emeritus professor of management at the University of Wyoming where he was the university’s first conciliator.  As the University Conciliator, he worked to settle disputes between members of the faculty and university administrators.   He has also been arbitrating labor disputes since 1977.
