Inherent Worth and Dignity for Everyone…Really?

Join us as congregational member Kathy Westergren shares her journey and continued involvement in Unitarian Universalism through the gateway of our first principle of belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Kathy Westergren, with a BA and MBA from the University of North Texas, holds the position of Outreach and Instruction Librarian/Instructor of Learning Resources at Del Mar College. In 2015, Kathy discovered Unitarian Universalist principles in Victoria, TX, marking the beginning of her active engagement with the UU community. In 2017, she returned to her roots, embracing the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Corpus Christi (U2C3). Today, Kathy is a vibrant part of U2C3, serving on the board of trustees. She lends her voice to the choir, volunteers in AV services, collaborates with the worship team, and plays a key role in fostering community growth.
