| Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases locally and the overwhelmed status of our regional health care system, the Board of Trustees, upon recommendation of the Reopening Task Force has decided to discontinue in-person church services until the current surge subsides and the hospital system is no longer overwhelmed. A specific reopening timeline has not yet been determined. Everyone is encouraged to watch the live Sunday morning service via Livestream from our church sanctuary, where our Minister, Director of Religious Education, The Band and Pianist will be providing the service live. How to Join the Livestream at 11:00 am on Sundays We will no longer be running our services on zoom, however, you can find our Livestream on the main page of our website. Go to www.uucorpus.org and click “play” on the video on the right side of the screen. Click on the “Fullscreen” icon in the bottom right corner to enlarge the picture. If you would like to chat with us live, click on the YouTube icon link at the top of our home page, then you will be able to open the chatbox under the service video. How to Take Part in Livestream Chats at 11:00 am on Sundays *You must be logged in to YouTube and Subscribed to our channel to join in the chat feature. Instructions if you already have a Google account. 1. Visit YouTube. If you do not see your Google account icon at the top right of the screen, click the Sign In button. To set up a YouTube account, log in with your Google username/email. 2. Go to the U2C3 Youtube Channel and click the Subscribe button. 3. To post in live chat, come back to our channel at 11:00 am on Sunday and find the Sunday service Live video feed at the top of the page. Open the video. You will see the live chat to the right of the streaming video. Click where it says “Live Chat” and begin typing. Then, click the send (>) icon. If you do not have a Google account or a YouTube channel, create a Google account now! Then continue with the steps above. Religious Exploration – Children & Youth Summer programming Children’s Chapel (Grades K-5th) will continue to meet every Sunday at 9:00 am. Our Multi-church Youth Group (Grades 6 – 12 which splits up once check-in is over) will continue to meet on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm.
