Thankfulness from two perspectives: Universal & Bahá’í – Mark Weber

As our world seems to be collapsing around us it becomes easier each day to focus on the negativity that engulfs us. Yet, we can and should wage our internal struggle to stay focused on our spiritual strengths. Chief amongst them is hope for a better day and thanks and gratitude for what blessings we have. Learn what things we can be thankful for this season.

Mark Weber is a native of Corpus Christi and was a member of this church from 1961 to 1969. He is the son of Carolyn Jane Rex who was a member from 1961 until her passing last year in September. Mark will tell you that he has been a spiritual seeker since the age of ten when he had a spiritual moment with     God. That, he believes represented the establishment of a covenant. In 1970 he was introduced to the     Bahá’í Faith while living in Houston. He embraced that Faith shortly afterward and has worked his entire life to understand it and to foster its development.
