Nepanotli – The Middle Way

The Sermon will focus on the Traditions and Spiritual Practices of the Mexica People, and how their Earth-based connections help ground our Hearts in our Mother so that we may bravely stand to defend her in these changing times. The Middle Way helps us to shape our values to the point where we cannot betray them, lest we betray ourselves and our mission to exist in Love, Truth, and Understanding. This service will have Mexican indigenous spiritual practices being shared, including smudging. So if you are sensitive to scents, please be aware of this as you plan to come to church on the 18th.

As a student of the Ways of the Mexica Dorothy Peña has strived to walk Nepanotli or the Middle Way for the past nine years with Ehekatl Papalotzin (Venerable Butterly of the Wind) guiding her Spiritual Development with the instruction of Adalberto Tonalhuitzil Zane’s as the founder of the group.
