Holy Disruption with Conor Rice

About the Service:
Inspired by Jeremiah 29:7, this message calls us to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city.” It challenges believers to turn faith and values into concrete action by working and praying for their community’s well-being. The message reminds us that our well-being is tied to the well-being of the places we live, and that faithful citizenship means engaging—not retreating—from the public life of our city. When we put our faith to work for others, both our communities and our spirits thrive.

About our Speaker:
Conor Rice is a Corpus Christi native, and a community organizer who is passionate about civic engagement and public service. He currently serves on the Corpus Christi Crime Control and Prevention District Board and chairs the Missions Team at First United Methodist Church. Conor works full-time in campaign software, helping communities increase participation in local democracy. His ministry and vocation share one mission: to turn faith into action for the good of others.
