H₂-Oh, No! with Nick Gilby

About the Service:
Water is essential to all known life—and central to many religious traditions. While our local reservoir water might not be considered holy, it is certainly precious and increasingly scarce. Just how serious is our water situation, and what can be done about it?

About our Speaker:
Nick Gilby is a relatively new member of U2C3. Born into a Navy family, he spent time in Iceland and Maine before settling in Texas in the mid-1990s. Nick has been active in politics since 2012 and has served on the executive committee of the Texas Young Democrats since 2019.

He holds a degree in geoscience and is a member of both the H. Boyd Hall chapter of the NAACP and the Coastal Bend chapter of the Sierra Club. Nick also serves U2C3 as Board Secretary and AV Coordinator.
