Grandma’s Gospel of Gratitude

Thanksiving has long been Debby’s preferred holiday because it just makes more sense to celebrate gratitude for all that we have than to try to satisfy the family’s material desires in the name of one impossibly magical birth. So last year, the family eliminated Christmas entirely. And from that, a philosophical throughline emerged from Debby’s peculiar grandmother to today’s priorities. It has been a revelation that you might want to look for in your own family. So join us as Debby takes us into the eccentric world of Ruth Parsons–as it seemed and as it was. It has much we can learn from.
