An interactive, discussion-based service

It’s time again to watch and discuss! The congregation is asked to view Bending the Arc: The Vote, a free movie available online. It is a moving account of the struggle for voting rights for black Alabamans in the 1960s. This documentary was created by our Unitarian Universalist congregation in Birmingham with their resident filmmaker, Pam Powell. It features Unitarian Universalists who were activists in the Civil Rights movement in Alabama – stories of both solidarity and martyrdom.
