Would any U2C3 members and friends be interested in marching with a group from our fellowship in the Barefoot Mardi Gras Parade on March 1? We have our UU banner, and participants can bring other messages of love and acceptance to proudly showcase our values. Nothing overtly political—our values speak for themselves.
Kelli Thompson can handle the registration forms, though she won’t be able to attend due to Tacos Not Bombs. If you’re interested in leading the group, let her know! This is a great opportunity for community visibility and a whole lot of fun.

Parade
The Parade begins at 11:00 am, March 1st, 2025. Get to the beach early to get your spot along the parade route. The beach will be closed off to vehicles just before the parade starts. Be sure to have your 2025 beach permit if you park on the beach! Parade begins at Access Road 5, and ends at Access Road 3A. Park on the beach, or walk and set up along the parade route. If parking, please ensure all vehicles must park in straight – East to West, no sideways parking allowed.
