Board of Trustees This group of seven is the executive body of the church, elected each year by the membership. They make decisions regarding institutional stability, annual budget, and policies and procedures for the effective administration of the church. To be on the Board, you must be a member, which means you have gained basic knowledge of this free-faith tradition, signed our historic membership book, and make and fulfill a financial pledge each year.

Volunteer Committees The foundation of our church is strongly built upon the efforts of numerous volunteers. We encourage everyone to join a committee and enjoy the benefits of helping strengthen our congregation. Don’t be surprised if you build terrific friendships along the way. Building The chair assumes primary responsibility for the maintenance of the church facilities, recruits help from volunteers, and purchases any supplies or equipment needed for this purpose.
Compassionate Living This group provides support to congregants. After a needs assessment, the committee determines how the needs can best be met, using the team’s resources.
Finance Committee The treasurer assembles the budget and accounts for income and expenses, the depositor (Bob Davis) deposits the weekly collection, and cashier (Jillian Whitbeck), pays the bills.

The five acres of grass, trees and flowers that surround the church get great care, including a low maintenance natural area that reflects our respect for the earth’s natural beauty.
Hospitality Serves refreshments after each Sunday service and prepares for the monthly First Sunday Lunches: arranging tables and chairs, setting up the food, and cleaning up. One member takes the tablecloths and napkins to wash at home.
Membership This group greets and welcomes guests, provides quarterly orientations about Unitarian Universalism to those considering membership, offers social opportunities that help integrate newcomers into the congregation, and provides a mentor relationship for those who want to become more involved. A critical role in this committee is the Database Manager, who maintains current lists of Members and Friends, including their children. The Administrator posts an updated Directory of Members and Friends quarterly.
Religious Education The Director of Religious Education, the chair, and teachers work to provide a rewarding church experience for our children and youth. They plan classes, coordinate intergenerational services, arrange special events, and support a burgeoning youth group. They are always mindful of the importance of parental involvement and general safety. They welcome new participants in this rewarding branch of our church family!

Settled Ministerial Search/Transition Team Chair:
Social Action and Community Outreach Committee
This team aims to serve the local community and larger issues serving the common good.
Chair: Colin Sykes

Worship The team of worship associates contributes suggestions for topics, music, guest speakers, slide shows, children's participation, and other options to enhance our Sunday service. When the minister takes one Sunday off each month, one of the worship associates will lead in her absence. The team is supported by a faithful crew for audio/visual needs, as well as a pianist, a band, a choir, and some occasional solos or instrumentalists.
